Graphitic Steel Rolls
The graphitic steel is a special alloy steel base roll which is similar to adamite rolls but with a small amount of fine graphite in its microstructure. The precipitated graphite in its microstructure acts to improve wear-resistance and resistance to fire cracking making it superior to normal steel rolls.
Applications
- Mills having problems with fire cracking such as medium and heavy section mills.

- GS-50 (48-53 Shore C)
- GS-55 (53-57 Shore C)

- Bending Strength: 650-1000 Kg/mm²
